Undrafted FA that played for Miami for a minute. We picked him up as a guy to put in the rotation in like 2015. He has been sturdy since, but not a baller. What blows my mind is the way the notorious O-Line held up against Von Miller and Assoc. in their own house. That should be the real story here. Just proves that the flippin stack of 1st and 2nd round picks we have on that line are performing poorly because they lack guts (good coaching) not talent.

Thanks, I mean, too little too late, but it is nice to get a win. One thing I both love and hate about my guys is, they are the ultimate underdog. The minute the world believes they can’t do a thing, they summon the apocalypse. Just ask Brady and Belicheat. This team unfortunately can’t find motivation when they are expected to win. All that aside though, the difficulty of beating Denver at home is a thing, but I would remind folks that this was done without our #1 DE, #1 RB, and TOP 4 WR all out on injury.

Of course, I would also mention this is the first game of the season where the OC called the plays, NOT McAdoo…

At this point though, we will have to be content in our role as the nightmare spoiler/trap game team for the rest of the season and maybe drafting Eli's eventual replacement in the top 10 next year.

Eldritch,

I didn't get to watch the game but I've got to hand it to the G-men they wiped the field with my Broncos. I have no excuses for our loss, the Giants were the better team on the field last night. Credit is given when its due :thumbup.

Thanks, dude, but it was a trap game. Even the best teams gets sucker punched once in a while. I'm sure Denver will be back next week. I have a sneaking suspicion they are going to punish the pants off the Chargers after what went down last night.

Do not put Phillip Rivers in your Fantasy line up next week, people. :laughing

Broncos did look absolutely flat. Overconfidence and week off will do that. Giants still took it to em. Anyone know how bad the Denver injuries are yet? Their receivers got banged up.

Huh. Apparently Niners are the first team in NFL history to lose 5 straight by 3 points or less.

Best 0-6 team ever!

Yeah, I may have been wrong about those 4 wins, but who knows, maybe the Rook puts a fire under 'em?

As crappy-Great as we are any W we get is going to be an albatross hanging round the neck of the team(s?) that lose(s) to us.

They'll run into 1-2 wins somehow.

Watch what happens this weekend with the Cowboys. Trap game etc etc.

Raiders sign Bowman to a 1yr - $3M deal.

I'm not too certain about that. Seems that teams now have a recipe for dealing with Von Miller. Chip him with a back, and get the QB some decent protection with the rest of the O-line. Heck I think Rivers put up some decent numbers towards the latter half of the first game, he put them in a position to win. I would expect nothing less from Rivers this time around either.

Maybe they just played a team with a shitty QB.... :dunno

speaking of which: when do we stop giving Carr a pass from criticism? This guy is visibly different than pre-pinky-injury and pre-leg-break last year. This is not the same QB from mid-2016. is it mental? he looks tentative and his passes aren't as accurate. He needs to snap the fuck outta whatever he has going on and get back to binness.

I forgot to rant about the second ginormous hole in the 9er D. First there was Toast Robinson and now we have Wet-TP Coyle. The guy couldn’t wipe his ass with both hands if he tried.

His girl is gettin’ tapped by strange ‘cuz he couldn’t fill a hole to save his life.

I'm think the OC needs a job evaluation at this point... Musgrave was great last year and worked well with Carr. This year, more weapons (Lynch, Cook), but questionable play calling. Isn't the axiom "run first" even in a throw happy league? ... and if Carr needs to snap out of it, Cooper needs to step up as well.

With KC coming off a loss, they're gonna want to prove a point, the Raiders can't afford these stupid losses, and yesterday was as stupid as they get.

Good news on Bowman, he has time to shop around for some moving boxes.

Shouldn't have let Musgrave go.

Wasn’t his brother destroyed by Houston’s mismanagement? The guy is getting beat up pretty bad and is relatively young. With his brother saying “get out before your completely broke” there probably isn’t much positive reenforcement. Guys are quitting before they get hurt permanently. Though I’d argue broken back pieces are pretty valid.
