FC3 Is still one of my favorite games, even if it's not really all that "good," the production values are awesome, level of detail astounding, and it's one of the few games that is so immersive you forget you're playing it.

Borderlands, on the other hand, is a skinner box with a loose narrative. :later

Yup, borderlands is probably one of the worst games I've ever played
 
Also surprised no one has mentioned Titanfall yet. From the bit I paged last august, that game is outstanding.
 
Dwarf Fortress. It was a little frustrating to get into, but now that I get it, it has consumed my life.

It has made the game almost unplayable, it's really that bad. Oh well it was a fun 47,343 kills up to this point. :laughing

Yeah, no vehicles and paying $$$ for alpha kinda bugs me. Needless to say, I'm watching closely, and hearing generally positive reviews from hardcore Dayz-mod players who bought the alpha.

Titanfall looks neat, but being an EA release, that kind of eliminates it from my consideration.

I'm sure they'll find a way to fuck it up and dumb it down for Origin consumption. They destroy everything they touch, just look at how dumbed down BF has become :twofinger
 
Every game gets dumbed down. Not sure how many of you are WoW players former or current, but it has been dumbed down so much it is silly. PVP is a joke.

Titanfall looks awesome, but I don't think my current 7 year old system can pull it off. :( Some extreme quadcore, and SLI 880GTX. Ancient at this point. lol.

Also COD even though I hate it but buy every damn one. BF4 is better.

I've never saw anyone with a 3.4 lifetime KDR average. Most people struggle to keep the ratio at 1:1 actually, it's not easy.

In call of duty? Are you kidding? :laughing I can barely keep a 1.5 in Counter Strike but I could get a nuke every single game of MW2. It's piss easy, nothing but memorizing spawn patterns and tweak shooting with a little on-the-fly strategizing.

I can't remember my # of kills (since I don't have the same profile data for CoD 4 anymore) but it was a lot. I played that game competitively for a while. Keep in mind that represents a CUMULATIVE KDR, so at the end I was playing games where it was like 10 consistently. HC TDM with 30+ people will do that. Ended up getting a 71 killstreak one time, that I will remember.

I think you can chalk up the difference to the fact that most people on consoles are t3h suxx at FPS.

I built a computer specifically to play Civ 5.

And then 75 hours of gameplay later, remembered that I don't like video games. :laughing :facepalm
