I’m ready to pull the trigger on an EV and I’m starting to learn a lot.
Some people say to unplug once it reaches the desired charge.

Yes. I have never owned a hybrid but every EV should just be left plugged in the garage if possible. Ideally, you don't want to leave it unplugged. You can set the max battery charge as well as the charge time based on your TOU electrical plan.
