Warriors 16-17 Season

That's some Bullshit officiating!
Giving Cleveland a free timeout at the end of the game when they were out.
Still stupid of GS to miss with the shot clock, but the officiating seemed BS throughout the game.

Kyrie Irving with the dagger.

No-call foul on Jefferson when he clearly pushed Durant. Oh hi, refs. :p

They shouldn't have blown that 14 pt lead and turning the ball over which could've increased the lead. Wasted effort by Durant too :thumbdown

Refs did not blow this game :facepalm

But it *was* a good game nonetheless. Rivalry games are certainly fun to watch.

It was a good game. There were some calls on both sides that were questionable. Both teams played well. Cavs were at the end of a 3 game home stand, Dubs were at the end of a 3 game road stand...maybe the difference, who knows. Dubs didn't shoot the 3 like they normally do.

I'm sure they'll meet again in the Finals.

And why didn't LBJ get a technical for "jungle gymming on the rim?" As Mark Jackson said. I can't stand listening to him...

Considering Draymond got a T the other night for doing the same exact goddamned thing and was even less demonstrative than BronBron's.... :thumbdown

KD shoulda got free throws.

Rematch in 3 weeks.

Gonna have to game plan to shut Kevin Love down. He's hitting 3s and getting boards now.

Too many Cavs were open for 3.
Draymond needs to calm the F down. His T changed how he played all game.
If they made 1 more bucket they win. No excuses to let go a 14pt lead in the 4th.
Curry doesn't get calls.
Lebron according to refs has never traveled or fouled anyone EVER.
That play to end the half where he just puts his head down from center court and sprints to the basket and got 'fouled'. Bs.

I'm more concerned than last year after reading the Cavs and Spurs are shooting and making more 3s than the Warriors.

I don't follow bball as closely as other sports. stepping on a player's foot isn't a foul? alright, cool.

anyways, this is a great matchup. the Cavs can certainly hang with the Ws, no doubt.

I thought the main reason for the loss was the lack of execution on transition ball. I can think of at least 3 times when the Cavs forced a mistake, and 3 others when the Ws just flat-out blew it. Give the Cavs credit for their strong work ethic to make it tough to score on transition baskets...that is not easy bball to play.

I was entertained

FWIW, I'd rather lose under a correct call than win under a missed or incorrect call. That said, there's no way we'll know if KD would have hit any/all shots, had he had the chance to take them.

That said, there are many missed calls during the entirety of any game, and it's not necessarily just one call at the end that is solely responsible for a given outcome. For the most part, I think games tend to balance themselves out when it comes to foul calls.

Yes, they should have called the T on Lebron for hanging off the rim like that. He's smarter than that, for sure, so I'm surprised he hung up there for so long.

Either way, that was a great game... Just like so many of the finals games. You guys are fun to play, and I hope you feel the same. Blowouts are lame, and be it on the track or on the court or wherever, games are way, way more fun when you have a very close rival. Last thing anyone wants for entertainment is another runaway with Lorenzo at the front.

:thumbup fun game to watch

Kevin Durant has a career FT percentage of 88.2%... just sayin'.

I know. But just like the Cavs winning 3 in a row last year, you never know. But honestly - the real thing to cry about is the Warriors blowing a 14 point lead in the last 10 minutes. Kerr probably isn't happy about that one.

Looking forward to that rematch in three weeks - should be another fun game.

Chickenshit T on Jefferson for the mean mug. After that the refs just propped up the Cleveland LeBrons, who were down about 8 all game. Free time out, Free play time on the rim, No call on Jefferson tripping KD (easy to miss).

Incredible shot by Uncle Drew over intense defense by Klay Thompson. Props to both.

The finals are going to be damn good if the NBA and the refs don't screw it up.

:rofl
