Warriors 16-17 Season

Remember that the Spurs are an elite team, one of the best in the best conference. That's why there was so much hype in the Spurs vs Warriors games last year
 
Kawhi Leonard, OK, I expect that.

LaMarcus Aldridge, hmm, yeah, he does go off like that on occasion.

But Jonathon Simmons? Who? Getting lit up by Danny Green's injury replacement, ouch.
 
Harrison Barnes (50% shooting) is tied with Steph Curry (30% shooting) both have hit three 3-pters. :laughing

But both their teams lost. Shit.
 
Lakers under Walton scored 120 pts, the most points in an opening night game since Magic led the team.

I think they'll be fine without Kobe. :laughing
 
Hear on the radio that of the past 247 Spurs game, they scored 127 points --- wait for it ---- only twice.

That game had the Spurs unable to miss, and the Warriors barely able to hit.

Speights already got 11 pts tonight for the Clippers by the 3rd quarter...I'm going to be pissing and moaning all year about how the Warriors superteam was blown apart just to land Durant. :x

Yeah, he apologized and claims they were making fun of him for being fat. I heard Damon Bruce ranting about this, how cowardly the fan was to do such a thing knowing he was safe. Then I remembered, hey, waitaiminit, it's sports broadcasters who do this shit all the time with their protection. I almost called in the show to remind him of Jim Rome and Jim Everett. (for youngsters, Rome kept calling him "chris" because of female tennis star Chrissie Evert, knowing Everett could do nothing about it).
 
Funny, I just remember the taunting and I have thought of Jim Rome in a very unfavorable light ever since. To put it mildly.
 
The Eyebrow is a hero. He keeps on doing heroic things with a crappy team that was crappy before injuries, now is even more crappy. Except for this Cunningham guy. Jesus.

You gotta love KD getting to the line. Dubs just never got the line much before.

I take back what I say about a crappy team. NO plays hard. Smoothie Center PA is crappy, though.
