Warriors 16-17 Season

Oh man look what Anthony Davis did in the Pelicans opener. Will the Ws put KD on him Friday?
Warriors D held Davis to under 50pts...
We found out who the Ws put on The Eyebrow...

Warriors defense is ranked dead fucking last in the NBA after two games. I wonder if anyone on these Warriors threads was warning this was going to happen? :laughing

Lots to think about regarding new players roles and the roles that left.

Durant is a massive upgrade over Barnes clearly. But will the scoring that Zaza bring offset the rim protection Bogut brought? Time will tell. Zaza will score more.

Who will be the teams Speights? Do they need a Speights? He likely won them 2-3 games last year for his off the bench scoring.

Ezeli was hit and miss. Not a scorer and bad on guarding the high pick n roll but he was an athletic 7 footer that could redirect shots.

Spurs and Pelicans both took the ball to the lane AND they trapped Curry hard during Pick n rolls.

I wanna see more scoring from Livingston. Curry has to do better in getting the pass out before the hard double team comes. I'm also hoping Damian Jones and Kevon Looney pan out. They need to really. Warriors hit gold on Barns, Draymond, Klay and Ezeli in the draft. Not many teams will do well 2-3 years in a row in the draft.

Warriors don't have a draft pick this year either.

This weeks game vs Portland (Damian lilard) and OKC (Westbrook) will be telling.

Well, 2017 Warriors finally showed up, second half of the 1st Q of the Portland game.

Ian Clark could not miss. Steph had a 23 pt 3rd Q. Ws have 109 points with 4:45 to go so I'm expecting to see a lot of Varajao and Looney, hopefully some McGee.

Up by 30 with 8 min left.

We good again yet or?

He outscored the entire Blazers team in the 3rd.

And a giant sigh of relief was heard all through many Bay Area households....

Klay will get out of his funk, but I'm not sure what it's gonna take to get him there.

Also, did any of you hear Rick Barry's redux of the Finals games yesterday? It was on a Portland radio station interview. He picked open the scab that was the officiating and the turmoil of the Cav's "magic" finish.

I was worried Lilard and mculum were going to bo go off which they can. The defense showed up last night. Kerr and coaching staff are smart men. They'll figure out the correct lineups and soon.

Really happy to see Ian Clark come off the bench and just start scoring. Gonna need a guy like that, like a relief pitcher, warm up, get in and make shots. He on the floor with Steph might be a matchup problem for others as Clark seems more capable of driving while Steph can float and shoot from anywhere.

No, but the officiating was so bad it will forever stain those Finals. It was garbage.

Similar to last night, Damarcus Cousins goes into the 4th quarter with 0 fouls and somehow fouls out of the game. It was bad. Refs hate him.

I watched that Kings Lakers finals on youtube that highlighted bad reffing. That was ho ho horrendous! Read there was a conspiracy the league didnt want the maloof brothers to win.

and steph was hurt too, but nobody makes excuses about it.
