Warriors 16-17 Season

Oh damn Gobert just went down (and out) with a knee injury on the first play of Jazz v. Clippers.

Bucks looked scary big but I don't think they can defend against a three point shooting team (cough Rockets cough Warriors). I don't know who that would be in the east if the Bucks progressed.

Sounds like Gobert might be able to come back?

Waiting for the Ws and it looks like the Wiz have the Hawks under control.

Are we going to see another Clipper playoff choke?
Well, duh, that is inevitable. The question is are they going to rebuild or get a new coach.

Draymond Green, DPotY, Finals MVP

That was a hell of game! It looked like the Grizzlies-Spurs game 1. The traded baskets for a half, then the better team, with the DPotY candidate, decided to turn up the defense.

If Nurkic comes back things could get interesting but right now it's the best team in the NBA versus one of the best back courts.

Good game, defense at the end won it.... I've been so sick the last few days I fell asleep for the 2nd qtr and halftime. :(

Getting ready to watch the Celtics game, Thomas is suited up and will be playing. (His younger sister was killed in a car accident yesterday.)

Nurkic may pose a match up problem. Kerr needs to game plan more for preventing 3s. Blazers got a lot of open looks.

Utah pulled it off without Gobert.

Are we going to see another Clipper playoff choke?

He wasn't the reason for their loss, but does Griffin look WAY less explosive than before? Several big injuries, and his stats this year were OK, but the eye test...

Read several articles stating that Clippers will be blown up this year if they don't make a serious run (several free agents, just not working out, etc.).

All moot, because the Rockets will win the championship. :cool

Thomas playing well, but those are awful circumstances for sure. Surprised the Bulls pulled it out.

Still can't watch any of these games - no TV ;/

Grandmother had me fighting wasps today. She has 4-5 large nests/hives around her house and barn. So there I was, in full motorcycle gear and helmet, walking on the roof of her house while spraying wasps in the gables/awnings. Had some people drive by and look at me like I was crazy. Can't blame them.

Coaches that make personnel decisions, like Doc does, tend not to do too well.

Start with Doc and have him give up the personnel side, get a real basketball GM/talent evaluator in there. Show CP3 some respect and let him go to a contender, he doesn't need to be part of a rebuilding, and let Austen Rivers go. Use Jordan and/or Griffin as trade bait, they're still worth a lot.

OK, so pretty blown up. The Clippers SHOULD be a contender, or at least closer to it. I don't know where Paul would go to have too much better a shot. Of the 3, I'd be most interested in keeping Griffin. You know what you get with Jordan, and I don't think he gets much better from here on out (FTs mainly).

Rooting for the Jazz tonight. I like their team, young and athletic (except Joe Johnson).

Durant and Living-stone "questionable" for game 2. :wow

Heard on 95.7:

Strained calf for Durant
Hand contusion for Livingston (Who spells his first name the best way)

Durant was getting iced and massaged courtside, thought something was up, but he came back in the game. Livingston was getting worked on for some blood spewage, but he never left the game.

I was thinking about that after writing it, and I couldn't think of a good fit with any of the current playoff teams (OKC?), but they have pieces to move around (*cough* Griffin to the Celtics*cough*). They are too talented to suck like they do in the playoffs.

meh we dont really need KD or SL for game 2 imo

fukn if green shows up again its gg bro

KD was limping around and grabbing his leg. He is genuinely hurt.

CP3 should go back to Nawlins with Boogie and Davis. Or come off the bench for the Bucks.
