What? No head tap?

Yup, you're right, we're all wrong, carry on everyone! :rolleyes

Typical post to show what is wrong with the majority of peeps in this country in my opinion: EXPECTATIONS.

I wonder if you HAD gotten a ticket or two if you'd be on here trying to hunt those rider down to make them pay for your ticket.... heaven forbid you be responsible for your own ass...

They probably recognized your bike was illegal and made a decision for you to run into the cop.

Next time put on your plate, and oncoming riders will see it and give you a warning tap.

Sorry. As a responsible taxpayer I was just trying to do what's best for our revenue-strapped local government.

Nice try, you had no way of knowing he'd flash the military ID, do the secret handshake, and get out of a ticket..

One time, I failed to head tap when I should have, and was so pissed I pulled over, took off my helmet and punched myself in the face. It didn't seem like enough, so if I ever crash, it's dedicated to that moment of dickness I had.

Ok, maybe that's all made up...but sportsbike riders should be cool to each other, regardless of what brand/legality of plate/mods/etc...If you're actually an unsafe rider, is a ticket going to get you to change your ways? And if you do try to keep it real, isn't a ticket just a tax on having fun in the hills?

Once again beeches, the non-headtap was AFTER I pulled over, and if you can spot that a bike isn't running a plate when it's COMING AT YOU, you are better 'n me! As usual, the wanna be mommies on BARF are eager to chime in when someone fails to replace the bulb in their turn signal (or whatever), 's ok, SOMEBODYS gotta be a teachers (or LEO's) bitch, I guess you nominated yerself. Better get downtown, ya never know when you might be able to help a metermaid find an expired meter or something......:twofinger

Semper Fi! :thumbup

ROFL

Some of you guys are harsh (not this quote though) the guy was just trying to find out what happened to the ol' common courtesy. You'd think one out of three would tap that. I know I miss the chance sometimes, but I still make an effort too because I'd appreciate it if they did the same. What comes around goes around. Or is it what goes around comes around in this case? Oh heck, Whatever

"no plates" leaves you "options" that having plates doesn't........:twofinger

+1. I started running all of my vehicles with no plate. Most of my friends do the same thing. When you get pulled over, they see you have all of your info, you are likeable, you get a fix-it ticket. Forget what offense you have just committed. It has happened to me personally. Running no plates has saved me from speeding tickets. Say what you want. I don't care.:party:ride

Gabe and Kornholio should investigate the DMV Handbook to see the rules, rituals, and minimum size required for a head-tap.

Keep in mind it was the first weekend that weather was nice and it's the first of March. These were most likely squids out for the first ride of the year, not your average motorcyclist. They probably have no idea what a head tap is.

Maybe I'm the only one but when some squids are coming up the hill I give a big thumbs up cop or no cop, it's not my fault if they want to go a buck fifty on my road! Seriously though I just wave, they can ride their bikes at any speed they choose. If you want to play you have to pay.

Thanx, Russ

maybe the cop just arrived or his hiding place was that good.

On GP @ malborough there was an OPD hiding behind a pile of garbage approx 530p sunday.

That's messed up... :x

I give a thumbs up if the coast is clear... :ride
Or a head tap if there's a cop... :mm4l
