Since the AFM doesn't race in the rain if it does rain on 11/26 will there still be a race school. I'm in either way, just wanted to know:confused

Yep. We run rain or shine. Not an issue though since it will shine baby shine! :)

BUMP!!

So who's gonna be @ the T-hill Turkdy day weekend for ZoomZooms annual Thanksgiving NRS!

:teeth

I'm going for NRS on Sunday so I can get rid of that R on my yello plate. If it's wet will they add a couple seconds on the passing times?

They have time cut-offs? I thought it was about not riding like a twit, being smooth, staying on the racing line, and keeping your cool when rattled.

I thought that too. But it seems that they really do want you to at least hit A pace cut off times while being/doing all you said above.

I've heard of people failing for being too slow. I don't know how they determine that. I would guess it's a lot easier to fail by crashing or being an unpredictable douch. I took NRS at Willow Springs, it actually was pretty easy. On the other hand, they have a full-on Novice class, so you don't have to run with the big dogs right away.

When i took it at thill, wile e. was keeping times in the tower with a stop watch.

I'm afraid of taking the NRS...

Because if I pass, DBR will really stand for Dead Broke Racer! :laughing

only when you start racing. :p

after passing nrs you got a year and a half time... 6 months to file the notorized paperwork and a year after that to run your first race. plenty of time to gather up fundage. :thumbup
