Bump if you rode into work today

That was just from my memory of reading the manual a little before bed each night, I don't have it in front of me. Maybe it said the engine should be running during adjustment of damping since valves are electronic and it can wear down the battery. You are probably doing it the right way.

I looked it up on the forums and people have had success by having it on the sidestand, ignition on, if it says FAIL try moving the sensor with your hand, just a wiggle, then try it again.

Here we are, derailing your beautiful thread. :p

Yeah, did that, removed the bolt holding the body of the sensor on and moved it through its range of motion as well, still failed.

As long as you rode in to work today...:laughing

Assuming you tried fully extending the front forks by pulling on them? A suggestion from this thread

I can't wait to get to THill :teeth but 165 down the straight sounds pretty freaking fast:cool

back in the UK on my old fully tuned, race exhaust, power commanded and de limited Y2K ZX12r I once went on a 'closed road' called the A24 and saw an indicated 204mph... but with speedo inaccuracies and such it was probably more like only 190mph... still felt quick but was effortless to get there and back..

I rode in today by the way... not at 200mph I hasten to add!

:wow I can't wrap my head around that speed, my brain can't work that fast yet :laughing

I was going to ride to work today but I decided to stay home so I could work on my bike instead. :laughing

I have to help my daugter move on Saturday and rebuild and reinstall the carb on my boss's dirtbike on Sunday.
I'm gonna try to point a motorcycle up Hwy 1 on Monday but I don't like my odds.

She goes to school in Sonoma, lives in Rhonert Park and works at Sears Point.
She's moving in with her mom to save some money....starving student and all.
As for my boss's bike, I haven't ridden with him yet but once I get this thing sorted out that's the plan. :)
Hopefully we can get him to come to the next one of these! (some pics on page 8)

Wow, it IS September :wtf

No fair :x! I would love to live around there, so close to Sears...and she works there!?

I need to get a dirty bike in the next couple years so I can be ready to train my eventual offspring in the way of two wheels :ride

Yeah she grew up at the track, might as well work there.
