Buy Gpro now!

I work for Palo Alto Networks. I would buy and hold. Can't really comment but great things are coming!

What I read is that all of the recent retail store hackings such as at Target & Home Depot are playing into the service Palo Alto Networks provides. So the future is looking good for the company but the stock does look a little expensive

Since when is network security not a hot market segment? It's the future and its a very important market.

Back to the future, I worked at a network security start-up in 2000, and it was "super hot" then, until it wasn't. I could see some new opportunity though, if companies are learning how to take advantage of advanced machine learning techniques to detect and block hacks while they happen. It would be really hard to perfect the technology though.

entopic user visibility, app visibility, apt prevention (wildfire?) all look interesting, if they work well. Seems like deployment would be really complicated. A business strategy that requires selling big-iron switches and firewalls in competition with Cisco seems hard a hard path to take, but maybe not if your tech is really best in class. I bet your customer base is hyper-concentrated in large finance, which is a good place to be since they aren't going to be mass-migrating to cloud anytime soon.

Thats a goody..the competition is going to get fierce.
doom and gloom...social media out, cybersecurity in. the war is coming home.

I don't know anything about the technical nature of this stuff, or what anybody is going to do, but a security company that can respond to the minute by minute changing landscape of their clients requirements regarding IT threats should do well.

And that in a nut shell is the what Palo Alto Networks does.

Keep going; let me know when it bottoms out :)
