My cousin had a Capri. One May 24th weekend he was too drunk to drive so he sent me on a beer run in it. I got a flat at 85 mph and had to leave it on the side of the road. I was 14 or 15 with no license and walking away from the car with a case of beer under my arm as a cop drives by. Dude just kept on motoring. Didn't even give me a lift.

One of my old customers who passed away years ago had 2 of them. A black one for shows and a red one that he daily drove. I always thought they were very elegant.

The old LT5s sound pretty good too :afm199 but the rest of the car though...

Oh believe me I remember. When I do the C7 party trick of showing the hidden compartment behind the infotainment screen, there is a picture of my dad's 1990 ZR-1 in there to remind me where I came from and why I spent what I spent on mine. Lotta good times we had in his ZR-1 hearing that DOHC absurdly overengineered V8 scream up to 7000+rpm. And yeah, the C4 hasn't stood the test of time well. C5s still look nice when I see them around.

I’d rock this C4 CR-1 in a hot second.

Jesus them brakes..

Didn’t come on that car originally. Not even close. C6 ZR1 brakes wouldn’t be around for almost 15 years after the last C4 ZR-1 was made

But yeah the Callaway Aerobody was frigging awesome. Always loved those. To this day, the Callaway Sledgehammer (an ‘88 highly modified Corvette wearing a prototype Aerobody) still holds the speed record of almost 255mph on the high speed oval of the Transportation Research Center in Ohio.

Another fun fact. Reeves Callaway’s dad is Ely Callaway of Callaway golf.

Has anyone posted up the new Ferrari Roma yet?
The shape really appeals to me.

Yes I did, it was not accepted well.
People thought it looked like a Camaro from the Ass.
Not seein' it. But I expect traditional Ferrari GT buyers want a V-12, not a twin-turbo V-8.
