it's from a French Artist "a creation by famed French artist Alexandre Danton"

also it "was never intended to be road legal, so it’s not going to be a daily driver unless you happen to have a wildly incompetent vehicle examiner. " it's a smog exempt year, over 25 years old i'm pretty sure getting this thing street legal in CA would be pretty straight forward

None of that makes it less a hideous mess. Everyone gets an opinion, worthless or not, and I think its a poorly executed hot rod build.

I saw a new GT-40 the other day in Seaside, dark green with Montana plates, and that was my first thought. :laughing

it's funny to me how much this ford looks like a fiero. my first car was an 84 ford escort wagon. baby blue, 5 speed. it only became mine because the toyoya dealer offered my parents $20 for it on a trade in for a new 94 camry, and after swallowing his tongue my dad figured he was tired of dropping me off at highschool i guess. i still miss that car sometimes.

anyway, that car made me interested in ford shitboxes that were made to punch above their weight (original lotus 7 used Escort parts, albeit not the escort that the US got.) close enough. rs200 rally car? yes please.
 
The RS200 is one of my all-time favorites.
