I had a Mini Mrk I with a hotted up 1275, fiber front clip and lots of other little things. Fun to drive when it would actually run. People aren't kidding about Lucas electrics folks. I put probably a tank and a half of gas through that car in the 8 months I owned it. That car is to reliability as the French are to fighting the Germans during WWII.

I didn't read the placard, kinda' aimed the camera took 3 random shots to get the bubble, and one of the exhaust which was cool. No others, having seen louvers and long low Jags before, and figured I'd read about it later. This article just came out. I'd have taken a second or third look if I'd known the history :facepalm

Saw this during the Concours on the Avenue, not sure I groove to the "textured" look, but Alain de Cadenet gave high praise during the presentation of awards....

That's different. I rpesented an Elva courier a few years ago and went up and talked to them with the car. This year my old mustang which is now my dads was there.
