I hope it's a better attempt at Korean luxury than the Kia Amanti I rented several years ago. It looked and felt nice, until I headed into a well known freeway interchange at a velocity that my Accord could handle easily, and nearly plowed off the road. That thing had suspension and body roll like a '73 Lincoln.

The Genesis is legitimately a decent car for the money. Not quite as state of the art as say, a new E-class or 5 series, but it's also a good amount cheaper. Personally, I'd have the state of the art, more power, and the value with the 2014 Cadillac CTS.

The Equus....nice too but not worth the money for what you get. More of the same story. Not quite state of the art, not the best driving, but it undercuts cars like the S-class and XJ by bucketloads of money.

He's building a MK1 with a lotus in it.

My friend had one back when we were just out of high school. RHD too. It was a killer car at autoxs. People were always amazed at the lotus engine.
