Had to lol as I only had to type 2015 in Mr Google and it pooped right up:laughing

Really like the exterior but I think they dropped the ball on the inside. The controls are far too busy and cheesey looking with a lot of hard surfaces.
Simple and functional with quality materials would of gone a long way.

I think the deal maker or breaker will be the IRS. If this thing really scoots around the track, with the reported weight drop, it may take back the sales leader position.

Granted, but at the moment its outselling the Mustang by a reported 1500 per year.

Until GM shuts it down...again. :twofinger

GM sold 1396 more Camaros in 2012 than Ford sold Mustangs. And that's up from a gap of 17,811 in 2011 so it seems that the numbers are going to probably change again really soon.

As of November, the margin is already down significantly for GM and Ford however, if those 2012 number are true, GM's suffering more with only 75,552 sold through November.

Who gives a shit how many camaros and mustangs are sold. Both models suck unless you spend the big bucks and get the supped up models.

the issue I have with Ford showing these pictures, is the car is clearly lowered. Gives a false impression of what it will look like when it comes out.

well, they do say it sits lower and wider than current model...

It's too bad they don't both drop their new generation models at the same time so they can truly go head to head. The 5th gen Camaro maybe only has two years left in it's cycle with the 2015 Mustang goes against it.

The 6th generation Camaro is moving to GM's Alpha platform, which is already very lightweight and beats if not equal too it's rival in the sedan form (Caddy ATS). I'm really interested to see a 3300lb Alpha based Camaro with a big V8 under the hood.

Also interested to see what's in store for the new Mustang in the power department. It's almost a foregone conclusion at this point that Ford held back implementing direct injection on the 5.0 Coyote motor because that's what's being changed on the 2015 model to up the power.
