crazy man at 16th St BART (NSFW)

The more you two argue this, the more I'm convinced only police should have guns. Hell, neither of you even have enough judgment to take it to PM's. Or at least, the OTHER thread that is specifically for this nut.

What was actually going down? All I saw was a guy acting crazy. You want to shoot/tackle/beat-down every one you see like that, well it's going to be a long day in the Mission.

I don't see the bystander effect as even coming in to play, since the guy seemed pretty harmless...

I'm also confused. Friend outed in post 93 the the cunfusing post 112. In between 3posts of violence toward the streaker, pretty much the same rate as before post 93.
So yeah, I don't get it either.

FWIW, I suggested further discussion be moved to PMs and PM'd a mod to prune the discussion out of this thread and merge it with the other. Before you posted this. So...you know...there's that. And even the police disagree with you that only they should have guns, but that's been rehashed several times over in the political forum.

Dude it's exactly what was happening. People saw the what went on, decided the risk vs reward wasn't favorable and walked on.

That lady was screaming her head off and scared shitless didn't seem to think think he was harmless, and neither the BART employee, everyon one else decided it wasnt worth it to intervene.

Sorry, lacked patience to watch entire video. In any event, of course if someone is attacking a loved one, I will intervene. But if there is no immediate threat, no, I am not going to beat anyone down. First off, I'm pretty sure that _I_ would be going to jail. But feel free to test that...

edit: Mostly I just saw a guy running around acting crazy. To me, that's just another day in paradise...
 
he has a lot of hair to pull, and when you have none...... it lessens his chances of getting the upper hand initially, worse case scenario, regardless of his athleticism, it really comes down to intention and tolerance of pain. thank god nobody was hurt but i'm only on page six......

It's funny. I am not a trained fighter by any means, but to me, the "respect" this "artist" is getting for his acrobatic skills is overdone. Yes, he seems nimble and in reasonable shape, so what? I really doubt he would be successful doing some back-flip pirouette to knock an opponent out, harm someone, etc.
