10-22 is koo, i use it on the regular.

16-35 or 17-40mm, if i had full frame those would be nice.

it'll take some time to get em but those are the ones i really want...
you got any fisheye?

naw, i was thinkin of fisheye for the longest time but since i got a cropped sensor it wouldnt do it any justice.

so i opted for the 10-22.

16-35 2.8 L, 24-70 2.8L, and 70-200 2.8L is on my wish list...

24-70/2.8 on full frame is my money lens. Easily 75% of my photos are with that one. I want a 70-200 to replace my Sigma 150, and I'd really like to go wider (17-35 or 14-24) but the $$$ just isn't there right now.

man u got lucky on that lens...

I wasnt planning on getting another lens in another month or so (happy with my Nikon 50mm 1.8 and 18-135mm) but the price was too good to pass up for a NIB. But if I have the money to burn right now, my ideal pair would be the Nikon 17-55 2.8 and 70-200 2.8 and i'll be set.

:thumbdown Skip it. Seriously. It's gonna be okay at everything, but not really good at anything. Unless you're travelling and have to pack REALLY light.

That photo is the 17-50mm that I bought. I was just answering his question re the 18-250mm. My travelling lens is the Nikon 50mm, thats what I call "light".:teeth

Ah, sorry. Yep, a 50 definitely makes a light kit. I'd want wider though. Have you seen this?

The 35mm f/1.8 DX Nikkor

About freakin time Nikon made a wider fast prime that doesn't cost a zillion dollars.

It's roughly the same size as the 50/1.8 and costs ~$200. If I used a crop camera I'd be on this like white on rice.

Well I'm borrowing the 18-200 3.5-5.6 indefinitely from my father, it's alright if I only want to bring one lens around (like I have many other choices). Pairs up well range wise with my 11-16 2.8

I've also tried the 24-70 2.8. I can easily see why it would be a great all around lens on full frame

yea that new 35mm looks pretty nice, will have to see what sort of reviews it gets. be nice on cropped sensor, as the 50mm 1.8 is a bit too telephoto for casual shots

How are you liking the video function on your camera? I sold the D200 and I'm still considering a D90 for a second body later this year.
