EBike Bicycle do you have one?

Ok, dipping my foot in to the E-thread....zizzzzt!

Ok, will be moving into our (nearly) new home with unpaved bike trails starting at the end of our street that will tie into miles and miles of paved trails as well in a little over a week.
I know this is a big mountain bike area ( Redding) but I don't plan on anything too serious off road (Have my Husky for that!).
My last bike was a gravel bike ( non-e) but don't think I will go the drop bars again. Thinking something with front suspension would be enough for light trail use but maybe I am wrong?
One local used e-bike that caught my eye : Giant E-Talon+ 29er . It is a size large and I am 5'-10" ( i used to be 6', WTF!!) .
I am now considered older (but less mature) at 65.
I don't want to spend more than $3k , don't want a tank or something that won't be in business next week.
Any suggestions ?

funny stuff. The Intense is a motorcycle, it has a motor, and wheels, ie, motorcycle. It has thru axels and didn’t go on my bicycle rack. it is motorcycle. I had to leave it in Santa Cruz at Moore and Sons. It would not fit in my car. I shall return with a three rail trailer, or something.

I was eyeing the intense (with Ohlins front and rear!) At the Michael's Powersports in Reno. Pretty badass.
The had Husqvarna and gas gas emtbs too

Do you have a trailer hitch on a vehicle? My son has a 1-1/4 trailer hitch and a 1-Up rack, and I have a 2" hitch and a Kuat rack that you are welcome to borrow. We both haul MTBs on them, so fit is not a problem.

I picked up my bike yesterday and am going for a ride shortly.
It was $5599, on "sale" because of overstock and a 2022 model.
