Also would like to point out that the hat in the sub-linked infographic is NOT a fedora, it is a trilby. Being the faire douche I am, I have several fedoras, some trilbys, and a douche-tastic amount of bowlers, top hats, snap caps, etc.

In fact, I remember seeing a number of posts by Nice Guys about how they don't wear fedoras, only trilby hats, and how much more kewl they are.

The nice guy thing. I've dated/lived with several women that used to date or be married to, Bad Boys. And every one got beat on, fooled around on, and generally was mistreated.
I'm generally a nice guy, but I don't know the difference between the hats, since I don't wear one that doesn't say Arai or Shoei on it. Nice guys finish first.
 
I've found first dates in SF to be very expensive if I don't plan properly. I've had $10 dates for pie and coffee and then $80-$100 dates which were like a couple of glasses of wine each and some snacks. It's a waste of money unless money is no object because you get to learn the same amount about them regardless of how much you spend.

Depends. If I want a clean cut with no comebacks I usually pay so that I get a clean break. If I really didn't like the person for whatever reason I'll accept their offer to split it...depends how cheap or spendy I'm feeling.

I am an advocate of non-elaborate first dates.
