Was really surprised to see Briar lose an engine in the Semi... Zanotti's stuff generally doesn't break. Will be interesting to hear what happened. Figured he'd use his provisional to make points, and he did that well; killer charge off the line, and great dicing with his brother.

Bunch of us at a watch party were rooting for Carver. If only he hadn't gone wide on the last lap... SO close. Props to Mees, he's a force.

Briar has to keep his head down and keep his good juju going. Having Mees in your ass has to be some big pressure. He seems to be be cool but inside he must be chomping.
 
Rain overnight and this morning causes Springfield Mile II to be postponed until tomorrow, Monday Sept 2.

Production twins heat #2. Not sure I have ever seen a crash 1/2 way down the straight at full throttle. Not sure what happened. Did not look good praying all riders are OK.
 
Hope everyone is ok. That was a terrible crash.
 
Yeah... looks like he hit the wall and then veered into another rider.
They both smacked their noggins for sure.. hoping they are OK as well.
 
Just reported Dean up on his own and in the pits. Higgens to hospital for a check-up, but moving all body parts. Good to hear.

Cartwheeling bikes and bodies is always fricking scary.
 
All these heats and semis and in the premier Twins class have been crazy. Looks like a Singles race. The track is allowing so many lines today.
