The new little zapper filling me with a sense of false confidence :laughing
Good news is, at 150 lbs she's easy to pick up and get back on the trail.

Lake Solano, and the park/campground, I took a tour, has been closed for a few years. Lost some trees, but back in business.
I think somebody feeds these birds, they took an interest in me, calling to me and advancing. Pulling my phone for pix slowed them down.

Good to be home again, , ,

Halloween is everywhere, this house in Princeton, CA was ALL THE WAY IN...

Over the top for sure. It's creepy if they're all stashed inside the house when not on display. The owners are probably fun characters to meet.

Buzzard Lagoon at night seems creepy. Guy was sitting on his front porch when I pulled up. Said hi and I told him I turned around to get a photo, he grinned and I realized he was in a wheelchair (nice one, tubed frame and all that). He rolled off and I thought he was coming to talk but I think he just didn't want to be in the picture. I saw a motorcycle poking out from the backyard, made me wonder.

Caught the eclipse today up north. Pretty cool to see one at 100%

If you liked the annular eclipse you should try a total eclipse sometime. I have experienced both and they're not even close in how cool they are. Somebody else posted that on a scale of one to ten, if a total eclipse is 10, an annular eclipse is about a 2. I happen to agree. :cool

Aside from the shorter days, fall does make for some great riding.

Returning to a couple of "crime scene" locations, with 50+ years of faded memories.
Berryessa, , ,
First chance for my eyes, cast upon the waters of last winter's deluge, up to a 9' short fill.
and
Location of a last minute spring bike run to Berryessa, bikes, babes, cages full of picnic stuff. Complete with rotating load of broken bikes in a pickup.
I was the only one that didn't break or biff a :ride that day, hospital was a stop for some. Lawsuits filed.

A window in Winters,

No crimes committed yesterday (I didn't see any speed limit signage...)

Mosquito Road had me laughing inside my helmet a few times, roller coaster of a road and made good use of every inch of travel afforded by the SM.

I thought somebody said that they were going to replace that little bridge with some bigger thing that was higher up. I always enjoyed riding that section of road.
