Hello.

Anyone with used gear laying around I can clear out for them? Kid needs a helmet, jacket, and gloves. He's like 6'1 (I know, fuckin fedex guy or something) and skinny.
Sorry, I gave all my stuff to Koi. He bought my Vanson off me and I gave him three other jackets to go with it. :laughing

Up at the Geysers, near G’s neck of the woods (I think). Doing power plant stuff:p

what size gloves?

I dunno, but definitely panicking a little. We're somehow in escrow without even listing our house and the buyer won't do any rentback, so if this actually goes through, we're out no matter what when escrow closes on 7/22.

Do you have a long term goal? Where do you want to be?Upper Lake is 30 minutes from Ukiah there are lots of opportunities for affordable spreads out there.

Long term goal is overseas, but wifey isn't down for that with pets, so we have a couple/few years to stick around. I think our preference is the greater Auburn area. Anyway, just as a matter of 30 day escrows plus whatever time for someone else to get out, we're probably looking at-at least a month of in-between time, but I don't want to make a rushed decision, so it could be a few months. We're looking at renting, but finding the combination of 1-3 months with pets with a little space, isn't as easy as it would seem. And it's not really something we can throw money at, because the more the price goes up, the less they like wt things.

I get it. So if you want to stay in the Auburn area-do you own an RV or would you have to purchase? If you have a self contained RV, I'd say park it somewhere in the NF, 30 days before it has to move.

Also, anyone looking for a super cheap Tiger 800 Marin Speedshop is having a blowout used bike sale. They have 2 under $3k :wow

We don't. Basically our plan is to try to find a house that's okay with our pet baggage and if we get down to a week with nothing solid, then we're heading to CL for an RV and trying to find a hipcamp spot or, heaven forbid, find a NF spot. I do have a buddy in Auburn that would be okay with us staying there, but he has dogs too and I think it would be a long hot miserable barking nightmare of a summer.

Are the kids growed up and on their own? How are the poopies with other dogs?

Kid is grown, though living at home, but we can send her off to Canada for a while. I think they'd be okay with other dogs, as in not attacking them, but the barking would drive me mad.

Our neighbor's dog barks at critters at night, which makes our dog bark. They've met and are fine, but......teh barks, so much bark. I just really don't want to be the obnoxious ones in the neighborhood.
