I think the guy undercharged me for the crab he told me 5.5 lbs but only charged me $30 :) Anyway was super good...a little too much some leftover. We had veggies and fries side dishes

Funny enough, a buddy who live out there jokingly talked about buying the bar when it came up for sale, maybe we should have...

He said it was a proper dive, he went in one day and the bar had flooded from the rain but people were still there sitting at the bar drinking despite some standing water here and there :laughing sounds like it's a bit nicer now.

Also been curious to check out the bee hive, also out in that area.

yeah, maybe "shoulda" bought it. But I don't know much about this particular bar. Similar went through my head about another bar or business too--but for a shop, they said retail is dying, so...
Maybe we should match up brainstorming next time :)
 
I think every time I have seen an opportunity too buy a cafe or bar there was usually a lease that was up for renewal, or some other expense that seemed to make it a great way to take a moderate amount of money and turn it into a much smaller amount of money... I'm pretty risk adverse when it comes to this stuff, lots of great ideas, but not the nerve to actually make an attempt.

Went to Costco and dropped a small fortune but I think I have like 2 months of food :)

Got a 50 lb bag of rice...I need it for dog food, and I eat rice, so should last like a year.

I got a 1.75L of gin, vodka, whiskey for the bar. So cheap under $50 for all that Kirkland brand.

Just got a $1000 check/rebate on our Costco card.

We buy most of our food, gas, lane fares and appliances etc. with that card.

Nah she's a Coton de Tulear she eats like 3 cups a week ;)

Apparently some dogs can't eat brown rice, she's been getting ear infections so I'm switching to white. If that doesn't work I'll find an alternative to ground turkey in case she shouldn't be eating poultry. She's been eating it for a year but has some ear infection issues.

I got some bison but it's like $10 / lb for ground.

I got a nice rebate too since I did my floors via them as well. I also go with a friend who has no membership so I pay for them they venmo me and I get all their points.

So I needed milk for my staple espresso every morning and I am scared of the store when it is busy so first thing in the morning is good.

And… I just joined the gym (free for this senior citizen) so I went to the gym then to Lucky all before 9:30 am.

Whoa. My new life.
 
Using ground turkey from costco, bulk brown rice, frozen veggies, and fresh air fried sweet potatoes, makes like a week of super high quality non-processed dog foods that dogs enjoy. I add turmeric and ginger for their health.

Sometimes she's a diva when over and I'll warm it up for her.

If I have the undershield off from the car, and there's a stain, how can I distinguish whether it's leaked coolant , or , whether it's oil ..= transmission oil, ( DSG )

(Straight engine oil is excluded b/c I think the level in the engine has never ever gone down on me and I've had it for quite some time. )

Also refrigerant is also out of the question b/c ...that's a separate leak in the right corner, IMO.

Hmm just realized I could squint/smudge it and see if it's pinkish(coolant)… probably doesn’t work hmm...
