Show us your Cadillac!

Looks great.

I can tell its new paint by the parking job. :laughing

Shit there is only 5 cars in the whole parking lot.

Easy to keep door dings at bay.

Full Vader shine. Looks great Bud!

Back in black.

New 10th birthday suit.
Now will let it bake for a month and the do some clear vinyl on the often nicked bits.

Assuming it works OK over black :dunno

Looks fantastic sir. I’d go 60 days of cure time before putting any sealant/film over it though.

Good strategy. My car has a bunch of door dings and I still park like you do.

Car is parked in my driveway for a month. Be safe for a while. :laughing

All new badges. Kept the old ones as a keepsake.
Even the wheel badges are new.

Those are correct for the year.

So, how did this work? What kind of prep did they do? How much did it cost.

I had a Ford Paint Job on my Explorer, and, uh..., explored having it repainted, but I got nothing but bad vibes from the random paint shop I went to. The way it came out is sounded like I'd be lucky to be able to see through my windows when they were done.

It was 10.5K (way cheaper than a new car :laughing)

Full paint except the inner door hidden crap.
All new badges including wheel caps.
Powder coated wheels
Tried plastic dipping the grill.. did not work. Stripped and repainted.
Polished one headlight the other was new 8 months ago.

Took 3 weeks.

Budman - good to hear things worked out on the paint job. Looking good.

Butch - The new CT4V does have 472HP, up 8 from the '16-'19 ATSV's....
But NO Coupes!!!

Mike95060 - "^ Three pedals and six gears please".
Fixed it for ya...
"v Three pedals and six gears. Why yes, thank you very much!"
Last Sunday at the Goodguys West Coast National Show, I ran the car at the autocross. WAAAAAY FUN!

That is one of the Cadillac prototype cars. They run in the IMSA DPi (Daytona Prototype international class which = fast cars!
DPi info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daytona_Prototype_International
Cadillac has done well in the DPi Class.

Looks like they will have cars/teams move to the new WEC, LMP1, Hyper... class.
Pretty sure that would allow them to run in Europe in one of the LMP classes? If so, that would be :cool.

Flho: I called a few dealerships to see what the deal was on the CT5-V...I'm not super stoked on it VS my Gen 3, but I can make great money on my car and pick up one of the 6 manual which I think will do well on future values...even if I don't like the looks of them as much as mine. So the first two deals tell me "$10K over MSRP". Yeah...nope. I'll find one that'll do it for $1K over invoice...
