Sounds like fun... Enjoy!!

I will be off riding, but that does seem cool.

Last night I pulled into a pub.. the parking space right next to the outdoor patio.

A couple of young guys were sitting at the table right next to where I parked.

"Nice car man.. has a great burble. You just get that?"

Paint win! :laughing

Budman - you change your exhaust? Cat back or axle back? I put Borla's axle back cans on my '13 Coupe. The swap probably saves about 20-25lbs over the stock muffler. Nice exhaust note, rumble, not obnoxiously loud, and no drone at any speed in the car. :thumbup

Holeshot - was at the Caddy dealer about two weeks ago, looked (just looking)
at a new Escalade ESV 600, think it was the Sport Platinum. It stickered in around $110K and then there was an additional $20K dealer markup.
"F" that!!! Pure dealer greed! :wtf

As for the IMSA races next weekend, good friend of mine (another '13 CTSV owner who bought his after driving mine) said he's not able to make it. Thought about buying the Caddy package but not interested in driving back and forth from Pleasanton each day.
Checked motels prices near the track (Sand City, etc.) they're around $220/night. :(

FYI... general admission tickets for three days $100 per person, parking is about $40 per day, unless you park in one of the dirt lots around track.

So the $250 package for 2 from Cadillac is a pretty nice deal

Anyone else thinking about going? I've been to three Cadillac V‑Performance Racing experience's, two at the Long Beach GP and Daytona. All were very well put together.

I have a Corsa exhaust.

Sounds good. Like you said. Comfortable for the hood and sings where it is ok to.

Swapped out on the original purchase along with some special upgrades.
I did....Powder coated wheels, grill, rear chrome and 6 speed, :blah

The blacked out thing was not an option. Took about two months after dropping coin.

My old man was confused as to wtf kind of Cadillac it was when he saw and heard it. (He had a CTS (6 cyl 4 Door)

This was not what he expected when I told him I think I sm finally ready to be a Cadillac man. :laughing

If I didn't have my AFM event, I'd totally go. I've got a long time family friend that might go too if he's free...big into cars, known for his famous car collection and is a well known guy in the sports world. Maybe I can try Saturday out...but it's gonna be a stretch. I'll check in with him too. I'll get back to you guys.

“Not your father’s Cadillac” is very much a truth these days.

If I would’ve told someone 20 years ago that there would be a supercharged 668hp track ready sedan wearing the Cadillac crest…in this color available to buy? And this will be the last car to have a V8 in a Cadillac? They’d have had me 5150 held.

The Electric Blue is a pretty sweet color! The Wave Metallic (darker blue) is also a cool color.

Ha, ha... every now and then I think about selling the ATSV and pulling the trigger on a CT5V, but not something $10K+ over MSRP. Wonder if/when Spring Mountain will be getting the CT5V's?

Meanwhile, the CTSV attending the Danville d'Elegance tour last month, up to the Boatique Winery at Kelseyville. If you haven't been there the wine is good but the vintage wooden boat collection is awesome.

There were two Caddy CTSV's representing, good friend of mine drove his CTSV, his is metallic black.

Looks like an entertaining rally. Next time shoot a PM and maybe I can clear my schedule and make it out.

Will do. It was a fundraiser for Parkinson’s research and patient care.

And for other Cadillac news... Spring Mountain now has the new CT5-V and the CT4-V's. Both are available with the manual (6spd) or auto (10spd).

I know two dads who need the ultimate bad ass Caddy with a manual. Well, maybe one.

Linky? There is so much here I cannot sort it all.

Whoa, that's a nice design. I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger on the CT4-wing M6 I went and looked at Sunday. Seems the CT5-Wings won't be up for order for at least a year and the CT4W's are out as well...seems not a horrible idea. Trade my W211 pristine Mercedes wagon w/ 37K miles for part of the CT4...the guy just wants a tad too much IMO. Then again, what IS the correct price these days for something that can't be found?

My Gen 3 was a former V-lab car...not sure if I said that above. It was a smoking deal and I was still able to overcome the warranty block by adding the extended Cadillac warranty on it for 7 years/ 125K miles for $3,600....it was a deal too good to be true. I love that thing...

We gotta drop a Gen 2 V motor in that....

Helmets... I have one. :teeth

Cadillac announced the new 2023 Escalade V, with the 600HP, 6.2L Supercharged engine.
Also, the CT5 and CT4 V Blackwing cars will be Cadillac's last high performance
gas powered cars. My guess is that this last series of car will have a couple more years of production given the announcement of the new Escalade V as a 2023 model.

Also heard that almost 60% of orders for the 2022 CT5 V Blackwing car have been with the 6Spd manual trans. :party
Also heard that Cadillac configured the car so that it will not accept an "aftermarket" tune. If true, probably won't be long before someone cracks that nut.

Regardless, would still take the "stocker" at 668HP of tire smoking fun!

Took my wife's XT4 in to the dealership for an oil change.

They had 5 cars on the lot (including used cars).

4 were Escalades.

They've been selling off their loaner fleet.
