SF is bringing in Brandon Lloyd for a visit.

yes, this guy

Morgan is getting 6m per year. Uh, thanks for playing. How is Washington dropping so much on free agents when they just got hit with 18m per year in cap fines
i heard 2 yrs $12M for morgan on nfl network and was :wtf

i've since seen other reports that had $12M for 5 yrs. has to be 5 yrs, morgan hasn't done anything to merit $6M/yr

the redskins are idiots. snyder still hasn't figured out that he can't assemble a super bowl team through free agency and he probably never will.

i'm completely unexcited by that.

Garcon to the redskins too!

RGIII and Garcon? Wow, I don't know how they'll cope with the Cap kick in the nuts.

that was 5 years ago now. with Brady passing to him.

he's been cut by 3 teams since. and he'll have Alex Smith trying to get him the ball.

seems like a recipe for disaster to me, but who knows.

Dude has put up over 1000 yards every single season except that last one where he was on 3 teams. I expect he'll get some play.

it is 5 years but the 'skins somehow voided the last three years alread so it ends up being 2 for 12 w/ 7.5 guaranteed.

they've potential in that offense now but seriously... they still don't have an o-line. :laughing

also, i'd like to add that if the Moss signing cost us Morgan than I am instantly pissed off at the Moss signing. Morgan should have been a bigger priority.

meacham to the chargers. chaz schillens going to santa clara for a visit.

happy to see V-Jax out the door. Schillens was good for about a half of a year, then got rocked too many times. he's gunshy and has developed alligator arms.

Filed to ESPN: Lions reached agreement with WR Calvin Johnson on a seven-year, $132 million extension that includes $60 million guaranteed.

daaaaaaamn

^ wow.

he should be the highest paid receiver. good for him. seems outrageous to me, but I am not an NFL god so what do I know.

@JasonLaCanfora
Randy Moss deal - 1yr, $1.75M in salary, $46,875 per game roster bonuses (max $750K), $1.5M in PT/rec/pro bowl incentives. No guar $

sweeeet

^good deal. no guaranteed money...fine, he doesn't need it anyways. won't prevent Randy from being Randy, and playing when Randy wants to play. at least it won't cost sf anything to drop his ass when Randy shows who Randy is.

He'll have even less motivation.

Can't wait until the catering pisses him off.

so it is $6M/yr for the first 2. for someone that hasn't proven anything, for someone that seems to have potential, but has never put up any kind of numbers and was a #2 receiver at best on a receiver needy team... have i mentioned how stupid i think the redskins are?

moss didn't cost us morgan, it was obvious they would bring in some people either through free agency and/or the draft who were probably going to be higher on the depth chart than morgan. and if he he's afraid of competing with a 35 y.o. wr on a one yr deal, who needs him.

it's a crap shoot, right? no one's guaranteeing Moss will be effective or productive. maybe he will. if he is, there is tremendous upside. but my money would be on: no.

you're doing an awful lot of hating on a zero risk signing.

Dude's toxic, that's PLENTY of risk, right there.

ANY time spent dealing with him, at all, by any coach, is time better spent working on someone else, not babysitting a temp with a bad attitude.

or he'll get outta line and they'll cut him and it'll be done

Adam Schefter: Three teams having early conversations with Giants free-agent WR Mario Manningham: SF, MIA, BUF.
