The Official 2016/2017 NFL Thread

Yes I agree, you are being obtuse. Facts: team was 4-12. Kelly is hired. Team has RADICAL change in schemes and immediately makes the playoffs. That's called 'success.'

.

One season doesnt make a successful coach. He had two winning seasons but was still fired after the third and only losing season because he was not successful as a coach there. He made horrible decisions that destroyed the locker room and team chemistry and theyd have kept losing and losing with the decisions he was going to make. Thats why they fired him. If Kelly was successful in philly....he'd still be in philly.

Now everybody is saying that Kaep did not recover from his shoulder surgery well and may not even be able to play in the pre-season. Apparently he has not been cleared by team doctors yet to practice.

you sure?

How does a Bengals troll even get you guys worked up? He has no cognisance of what success means.

Just ignore him like you would a jags fan.

Damn. We were just playing around and you dropped the suplex off the top rope. Division rivals are allowed extra leeway in shit-talking though. :p

In fairness, in the last 10 years, the Jags have been to the Playoffs more times and actually won a playoff game.

:teeth

Ummm I'm not sure what Jags team youre talking about, but the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars have only had one winning season, and made the playoffs once in the past decade.

And when they did make it to the playoffs, they beat the Steelers...

Instead of beating themselves in humiliating fucking fashion.

:later

I mean, hell, at least they won a playoff game in that trailing decade.

yeah, the Jags had a hell of a coach back then...

PFF says Raiders are Top 3 in the AFC (ahead of the Bengals). But for some reason that doesn't make sense, they ranked the Dolphins last in the AFC. We won 6 games last year and now have a much-better coach, so they'll be eating their words. :p

And they ranked Cardinals best in the NFC:

With Niners as last in NFC.

Why so negative? :x

Carr>Tannehill.... :dunno

Come to think of it, when was the last time the Bengals even won a playoff game?

That stat is less amusing to me, since it's been 16 years since the Fins won a playoff game. :cry

MF'ing legal drivers out there that never saw Miami win. Oh well, at least they are not voting age yet like Bengals fans...wait actually the Bengals fans that were born after they last won a playoff game are probably homeowners by now.

Nah, they made it once in '05 and once in '07. '16 Season hasn't started yet, '05 still counts. :teeth

Forget voting age...those Bengals fans are old enough to drink, starting to get married, have kids, and be able to rent cars.

:laughing
