The Official 2016/2017 NFL Thread

...wait actually the Bengals fans that were born after they last won a playoff game are probably homeowners by now.

Forget voting age...those Bengals fans are old enough to drink, starting to get married, have kids, and be able to rent cars.

I think we're on the same page with this topic. :p

Hard to feel sorry for the Bengals fans though, at least their team makes the playoffs often.

Let's hug it out:

And when they did make it to the playoffs, they beat the Steelers...

Instead of beating themselves in humiliating fucking fashion.

:later

I mean, hell, at least they won a playoff game in that trailing decade.

That Steelers/Bengals playoff game from last season has to be simultaneously one of the most entertaining and one of the most painful football games I have ever watched.

I was yelling at the TV the whole last quarter and have no vested interest in either team. Captivating football.

NFC East spending wayyyyyyy too much money.

Well, clearly a bad division is trying to spend its way out of poor play, but WTF Philly. :laughing

I have to admit that it warms my black little heart, since Philly has a great chance of being the worst in that division this year.

The last few years have been a race to bottom for all the teams in that division, don't you think? :laughing

Yes and no, the Cowgirls looked pretty competitive 2 seasons ago before they were crippled into the dirt by injuries last year. Any poor bastards that have to rely on Tony Romo being healthy in order to win...

But I think the 'Skins, Giants, and Cowgirls are all going to step it up this year. I think Philly is still in Chip Kelly train wreck recovery mode and will need another year or two to sort out their business.

The Miami Dolphins have made the largest single-donation in NFL history to a charity organization today, over $5M given to a cancer center at the University of Miami.

Because, fuck cancer.

I got suckered by a clickbait headline today.

i guess Von Miller is not happy about playing on the franchise tag. the bastard website suggested Den would trade him for Kaep instead of letting him hold out.

i had a boner for like 3 seconds..... so like a normal one. =P

also, fuck cancer. =(

Well, on a less altruistic note, The Organization reportedly made the donation in an effort to, "solve their owner."
