The Official 2016/2017 NFL Thread

I'll still cheer for the Raiders if they move out to Vegas. It's not like I am going to suddenly switch to being a Niners fan. :p

Wrong-o, my close friend is a Broncos fan, he's thanked me like 10 times already for the Dolphins mollywhopping the Patriots in the final regular season game of 2015. Because the Fins won, that gave the Broncos home-field advantage in the playoffs. Which helped them win the Super Bowl.

Can't wait to see the Dolphins throw a beatdown on the Bengals again this season. Just like we slapped them around in 2012. And 2010. And 2004. And 2000. And 1995. And 1994. :teeth

Thursday night game too. Prime time always scares me with the bengals.

It's a Thursday night game? Hope the Fins wear their dazzlingly bright solid orange to blind the Bengals. :p

Yeah, I think all the years of blacked out home games have jaded me to the point where I don't care where they play, as long as the game is in hi-def. :laughing

God I hope they don't that again this year... imagine those unis in agame against Seattle wearing lime green, it'd look like someone threw up sherbet.

Who was the Mustard v Ketchup game last year?

i actually like sherbert..... :laughing

That just looks like a Bengal who has shed his stripes, lol.

Two teams with orange on their uniforms on a Thursday night...could be brightest game in NFL history.

Looks like the Bengals got the division title wrapped up already, two of the Steelers' best players are out as RB Le'Veon Bell is gonna get suspended again, four games this time. And WR Martavis Bryant is already suspended for the entire season.

After seeing what Arians did with the Colts when Pagano got sick, I think he had more to do with the steelers Super Bowl success than Tomlin.

am I a bad person because I saw a post on facebook about two punters who died...and I scrolled on by?

I feel kinda bad.

rip punters

RT Anthony Davis has (finally) officially filed for reinstatement with the NFL and the 49ers.

Supposedly he lost ~50lbs in his year off. He was listed at 325, so if he's down to 275 he will need to put on 25 or so, I'd think.

If he's fully healthy and can actually get back to playing shape, that's a big plus for SF.
