Just saw the card for 169 while watching an episode of UFC unleashed last night.

I'm pretty excited and think it's a very good card to start the year to follow 168 ending last year.

Anyone think Faber might FINALLY win a UFC title fight? Maybe not, taking the fight on such short notice after Cruz got injured again. But who knows?
Really not sure if he can beat Barao though I will be happy for him if he does.

Aldo will win again I'm pretty sure. Pretty sure Mir is gonna knock Alistair the fuck out too.

Benson Henderson has a fight night fight coming up too I believe. Excited for that.
 
Cool kick but man was that card a lackluster lineup or what?

What happened to fox events being high end fights with recourse for the winners and losers?
 
Ya, specially the last two fights when I thought they would be the best fights of the night but ended up being boring. I was kind of in and out of the henderson vs thomson fight, but I think Thomson won that fight. One of the judges scored it 49-46... WTF fight was he watching.

I thought Ben won but wouldn't be surprised with either decision. I wish he would start finishing more fights (if he could). I don't much like when fighters make their career out of dragging out 5 round fights.

I wouldn't say it was an outright robbery, but yeah, I think Benson lost that one. Cerrone fight was good, so was Caceres/Petis, but other than that, kind of a snoozer.
 
zZz , skipped though most of the fights. henderson retains his title as the most boring fighter to watch.
 
Faber vs. Barao looks to be very interesting. Faber has been looking stellar , can he finally win a belt fight?

Hoping Mir will ream the reem but not gonna hold my breath..
