Warriors 16-17 Season

I like Westbrook's 5 or 6 steps he took without dribbling (an odd brainfart from the star), and the ref's almost missed it....

I don't know what the glory days of OKC were like, but I have to say, I understand at least one reason KD came here. It's a grim style of basketball they play. Westbrook seems stuck on scowl, on his face and persona. No wonder KD wanted a divorce. I will say that they put up a better defense than most teams the Dubs have played this year...

His stated planned revenge on Zaza is unfortunate.

I hope the dubs can keep up this momentum through Friday to meet the Rockets. The loss of West is gonna hurt them. He might not get a lot of minutes but he does a lot in the few he plays.

hilarious! Westbrook totally brain farted. in other games, he may have cracked a smile and even chuckled at his buffoonery. But he couldn't show that last night. He wants to show that he's upset. So be it.

I'd rather have him targeting Zaza than Draymond. Finally, someone else besides an all-star decides to try to stir shit up.

Look for Zaza taking one for the team next time Lebron comes down the lane, I like how Zaza is melding more and assuming a more physical role. Bogut did that. He was a physical presence guy who deterred a lot of shots close to the rim.

Zaza wont be afraid to get a tech and prevent Draymond for getting one. Exactly what most championship teams have had.

He kinda did, after that mis-step, he pointed to his head with both hands and did a WTF was I thinking gesture.

It looks like the Warrior D is beginning to come together.... :thumbup

I really like Zaza's defense as of late. He's been solid and also a scoring threat cuz he can make his free throws.

They're starting to mesh and play full 4 quarter basketball.

2strokeYardSale;9696771 They took the Warriors to game 7 in the playoffs. :teeth[/QUOTE said:
No, I meant before, years before. I was wondering if OKC every played with the kind of joy you see in today's Dubs. They entertain each other. I think KD is having a blast. I sometimes expect to hear the Globetrotters theme during those extended passing sequences.

OKC was pretty loaded at the time (Durant/Westbrook/Harden/Ibaka/Collison/Sefelosha) and shoulda won a ring had it not been for the Big 3 in Miami.

Went south, figuratively and literally, when Harden signed with Houston, the Thunder never found their way back as the Warriors ascended.

It was a good week of cooking.

And it was a good week for watching opponents lay down on the job.

Is it just me or did Harden not seem like his usual floppy bitch self?

Steph mentioned in his post-game interview that they planned and made a concerted effort to deny Harden his usual million trips to the line. I think making him earn his points from the field really threw a wrench in his game.

I don't know how they did it. If he takes a jumper, he kicks the defender and gets fouled. That didn't happen, like they kept out of kicking distance and completely shut down his 3 point game. If he drives to the basket, he gets fouled, like the refs whistle as soon as he starts dribbling. That didn't happen either. Yet they didn't leave a lane open for easy layups, they somehow defended him without getting the fouls.

As long as the Warriors don't play Memphis in the playoffs, we're good. :cool

Spurs/Cavs going to OT. Good game.

He tried and tried with his trademark move, which is to drop his shoulder and shove the defender off with his forearm to create space, which then entices a reach and a whistle. Warriors didn't bite and he ended up missing the shot, since he's used to just chucking the ball forward and getting the whistle.

Warriors were over 50% from 3, that's insane! Klay was over 80% from 3 and made 7. You can't compete with that IF they keep their defense up.

Wtf! How do you lose to a team that's 15-30? Iggy and David West out can't be that big of a deal on a team 15 games under .500.

Was a lucky shot by Waiters with 3 seconds left. Klay was playing good defense.
