What happens when men prefer porn?

To me, I go by the definition of the word. Here’s what Wikipedia says:

an English-language term for a person, usually a woman, who is sexually promiscuous or considered to have loose sexual morals.

My first wife fit that to a T.

However, if one is not in a committed relationship like a marriage, they can do whatever they want to do as long as no one is hurt by their actions.

I loved my first wife very deeply and she caused me life long hurt by her actions. To me, she will always be a slut.

And she never apologized for her actions.
 
Apologizing would have meant that she wanted something that was bad, which is pretty much synonymous with being a bad person. Most people don't apologize for that. She was basically acting like a cliche flawed alpha male. Make sure to check that bottom-left corner...

Whenever my wife asks me how she should dress for something, I always say the same thing "as slutty as you can get away with!" :laughing
I've always considered slut as more a fun term than a negative one... Not bad like skank or whore. But I'm easily confused.

I see nothing wrong with porn and completely disagree with what you said. As long as one isn’t jacking off to some weird, disturbing porn, it can be perfectly fine in a marriage.

And, when one has lost their life partner (my wife died more than three years ago) it can be a godsend. I’ve been married twice in my life. The first turned out to be a slut after 8 years of marriage. My second wife was absolutely wonderful our entire marriage until she finally died from Alzheimer’s. I have zero desire to establish another relationship with a woman but I still have a strong sex drive.

I’d say you have never lost your life partner or special person in your life, let alone one who died slowly from Alzheimer’s.

i asked my sister about this - she has 2 sons (one 21, and the other 23). one graduated with an engineering degree, the other is working on his masters in architecture. they both live with their parents. i didn’t ask the exact question, but more along the lines of their relationships, and their interest in relationships. she said the youngest has never shown any interest (never had a steady girlfriend). her eldest has had two, but doesn’t currently. she said both of them spend all of their spare time computer gaming (the youngest competes). i asked her if she was sure that’s what they were doing. she said yeah, they both have big screen ‘gaming setups’. they wear headphones, but she can see what’s on their screens. and then she went on a bitch rant about how much time they spend doing it. like, zero other interests.

i didn’t mention porn. she’d probably prefer it if that’s what they were doing lol.
 
I've only been caught engaging in this described behavior once. (by my wife) It was quite comical actually. I was disappointed that she didn't bother to help me out. Menopause kinda messed things up imho. Everything just dried up. Things could be worse. I won't cheat on her either.

The bigger question is why? I noticed about 20 years ago when my nephew's had no interest in getting drivers licenses at 16. That told me that they definitely had different, umm... "goals" than my generation did. Part time jobs, cars, spending money were all in pursuit of the "prize." There's always been some kind of porn, and masturbation, but it was "in addition to" not "instead of." Porn made me want the real thing even more. I would have crawled thru broken, flaming glass just for the chance to "get me some." Never even considering the effort vs the reward ratio. Why would an entire generation of young men choose to, or even be able to, just give up on a basic human instict? I still believe this is an upset in hormone levels, most likely due to exposure to chemical food additives.

Women are more visual/superficial than men. If she didn't marry a 9//10 plus, she's probably gonna cheat. And women are better at hiding their cheating.

Women want looks, money, status, personality, and about 100 more things.

Men want fit, feminine, friendly, and faithful.

Watching porn != having sex with dozens of different sex partners per year. I don't know, maybe you're aren't a heterosexual man with a normal sex drive, but from every guy I've talked to and the research I've done, men are disgusted by promiscuous women. Doesn't mean some of them won't have sex, but a promiscuous woman is a no for a long-term relationship. She has no self-control, she's used, she is alpha-widowed and can't pair bond, she will always want to have sex with more and more men.

Why are women always ashamed to admit how many guys they banged?
