Day 2 -

Remarkable piece of equipment some folks built here. Was built to take salt from Death Valley, to the Owens Valley. Built 1911-1913, 13 miles, 47 miles of cable.

Visited Cerro Gordo(forgot to take any pics :mad), chatted with the very knowledgeable caretaker, headed down the back side.

Once down the long gravelly hill, it's a fast run to Saline Valley road.

Oh yea, I'm fine, thanks for the concern. Just shifting focus. Not a lot of my riding friends transitioned to adventuring from sport bikes, and the ones that did are whittling down to zero between getting married/having kids and moving out of the area. Plus I rescued a dog a couple of years ago and the weekends kinda belong to him now.

I've got a new Tacoma TRD 4x4 Off Road coming my way and selling the 990 means I get to have some overlanding goodies for it. :laughing
