Street Bob, my all time favorite. Nice.

How you gonna steer?

you don't steer a Harley, a Harley guides your soul![]()
I would gladly take that bet. Just tell me where and when.
I like this guy^
Bottom line is that there are so many different bikes out there because there are so many different types of people that like or want to ride motorcycles. Why does it matter to so many whether or not someone they don't even fucking know, likes or dislikes their motor choice? Your bike, your money, shut the fuck up and just ride your ride
It would be great if harley riders would do this. when I see them try to justify their bike on objective grounds I have to speak up.
I have nfc what monster cables are, but anyone trying to justify motorcycling (or their motorcycle) on objective grounds is probably delusional.![]()

Yep.
I'm not a huge fan of the Low Rider, but to me it beats the crap out of the freak show Wideglide. And if I pick this one up, by the time it hits the street it will have little or no resemblance to its present form.
It's a shame people need to shove their misguided and uninformed judgmental views on others.
Sure would be easier if we all just got along and let folks have their own opinions without pissing on them.
but...what fun would that be.![]()

Very happy to show you the way down 84 and if I'm not done w/ a smoke and 1/2 the beer by the time you show up at stage I'll buy dinner. Send me a pm.
I once heard the analogy "it's like flying a biplane" and it totally fits. I just rode a friend's 09 screaming eagle roadglide the other day. 99% of the people on this board would not be able to be beat that bike in a light to light drag race. Comfortable as all fuck too.
I will have me one someday.
Riding a Harley is a Blues thang... you can't blues ride an RC45...

A cruiser can be a quality made machine and work well, but it's still limited by it's basic design, that being it's a cruiser. For the sake of fashion, and that's it in a nutshell, performance and comfort is compromised. The performance part simply can't be denied. Raked out forks, barely adequate cornering clearance, and a riding position where your feet aren't under your butt all mean that you cannot have the same control of the bike that a standard, sport tourer, or other bike provides. Yes, some people can hustle one in the twisties at remarkable paces, but those same riders on a better bike could go even faster with less effort. And as far as comfort is concerned, some people find them comfortable, no doubt, but when all your weight is concentrated on your butt and your spine, that's a serious compromise, and eventually, you will tire more quickly riding in that position compared to a standard or sport tourer. Even sport bikes are crappy for comfort. Their riding position is compromised for speed. Bottom line is that a cruiser of any make or model, and this includes the big Harley touring bikes as their riding position is really no different, are large concessions to fashion at the expense of function. No two ways about it.
