That’s a concept car, not an old ‘78 Ford that’s retrofitted with some electric motors.

I don't follow F1 but I did read about Daniel Ricciardo getting to take a spin in one of Dale Earnhardt's race cars at COTA recently. Pretty cool. I love seeing racers who have appreciation for the history of the sport and across disciplines.

It’s a better looking Civic Si. Pretty much it. If it winds up being $10k more than said Civic Si, then this will be the fail of the ILX all over again.

We have already known for a couple months now that the hopes and dreams of a true two door hatchback were not happening.

Supposedly the 2022 (11th gen) Civic Si will only be available in the sedan body so the new Integra is the only way to get an Si hatchback. Kind of a bummer because the new Civic interior is so nice, there isn't much reason to pay the Acura premium other than really wanting Si features in a hatch.

Reserving my final (and worthless) judgement until I see the car in person and Acura releases pricing.
 
I was already ready to lame-o-pileon on the pictures above for being a bland sports car.. but then I remembered one other manufacturer not releasing a two-door hatch any more (only 4 door), so... I think that's what the market "wants", sadly.

but yeah, I agree that above just looks like an ILX/TLX whatever

This is of course totally fake since the 2 door is a pipe dream. But whoever made this…their guess on pricing will probably be pretty damn close…

I’m sure a Type-S won’t be available until another model year in. But yeah…starting in the high 20k range and mid $30k range is where the Integra maxes out. Right where the base TLX starts. Seems about right.

As a previous owner of two Integra hatchbacks, if being honest they really weren’t all that anyhow.
Having said that I was expecting something a bit more interesting this time around.
 
Lame AF, really. Why buy that over anything else?
