Cars that make your jaw drop.

I tend to agree, although I think that if the car was lower(ed) it would look much better.

And dragging those headers!

It's a RM though, so the wheels are probably about right for a modified version.

My friend just got one of these. Two engines. Four wheel drive. Silly, eh?

It’s a mean look this way, ass end up. Typically these days they mini tub and hide 1/4” of the rear. I think it currently looks good.

I’ve been watching a lot of Texas Metal and Bitchin Rides and drool over the cars and tools. So wish one day my ‘69 Mach1 gets on Overhaulin. Granted, with the 390, the 10mpg wouldn’t be so fun.

I saw this and thought it would be fun!...
Then it sold for. $22000. Just a bit out of my range..
It seems most everything I like sells for 10000. More in the last 2 days of bidding..

Valiant is cool!

Blazer for thirty grand lol. Someone's gonna be disappointed after a few weeks.

Supposedly those things worked well on rugged roads but did they have to purposely design them to be so ugly. Might have been to deter theft or something such.

Wife got me the Andretti Experience for Christmas in an “Indy” car at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Went to Vegas this past weekend and did my five minutes. Honestly wasn’t that excited about it since I know they don’t let you go that fast, and the car is a far cry from an actual IndyCar.

Got some certificate at the end that says my top speed was 136mph. On paper, to me, that ain’t much. Since my Corvette can cover that speed at the end of a quarter mile.

But actually doing this. On the banking, with the view of pretty much just two tires in front of you? It’s pretty awesome. Even at this slow speed, it’s actually quite a bit of effort to steer left (no power steering) and hood the line. And it’s a pretty significant amount of lateral g you pull.

You can do NASCAR cars there as well. The Indy was $500 for five minutes. They’ll let you go out there for as long as 32 minutes I believe, and they’ll allow more speed for each tier of time more you get. If you find yourself in Vegas and won a fistful of money at the tables and would rather not just lose it all back to the house, this is a fun way to spend some time and money there.

Just more work stuff. This was our shakedown at VIR 2 weeks ago. That's me blocking the sun. This car is pretty trick. Every bit of suspension adjustment is done with shims. It has full data acquisition and telemetry, of course, but they've also moved past having to plug a computer in to change any settings. That's all done in the steering wheel and the dash displays.
This is my first car at this level in 15 years, so of course I'm blown away, but we have a couple guys that we stole from Mercedes and Lambo GT3 teams, and they even said it's a step above what else is out there.
