Kill 'em all, kill them all.

Rant.Rant.
So I had a confrontation with one of the assholes who stops traffic when I split up to the front today. A motorcyclist in front of me had a break in the bicycles and cut through them (lucky bastard). Well the bicyclist then rolled up directly in front of me and asked if I can get by. I said "no theres to many fucking bikes". So the guy says to me, "good thats what we want to hear". This pisses me off and I, not screaming, but talking to this guy in a very angry voice say that what there doing is fucked up. It makes everyone hate them even more, and theres other cities who do critical mass in a kinder law abiding way (see San Jose). This guys got nothing to say and just as I start to lose my cool the bikes ends and he's off.
Now I got no problem with bicyclist in general, but when they do things they shouldn't like run red lights, take up whole lanes I get pissed problem is the majority of them do it and the part that makes it a problem is how theres no repercussions for them. They put all the blame on the other party when they them selves broke the law, then they go and have CM where apparently its a good idea to make everyone hate them.
I don't see why there isn't big demonstrations against these self-centered assholes. I propose we should start something in protest against this, in a non-violent / non-asshole way of course. I'm not great with ideas, but maybe something like getting a whole lot of motorcycles together with them maybe, were does it say only bicyclists be apart of CM. I don't no thats probably a dumb idea, but I'm interested to hear what others have to say as an anti CM.

And if a car driver drove like the typical motorcyclist, they'd lose their license and car in a heartbeat
What are you talking about? While I agree that most motorcyclists ride poorly and unsafely, they don't flaunt the law anywhere near as bad as bicyclists nor have I ever seen anything as idiotic and selfish as CM out of the moto community. The only thing that even comes close is the rolling roadblock stunt tards on the freeway, but I think most of the people who think CM is just a bunch of self centered pricks feel the same way about the stunt tards.
CM is not what cycling is about and it's undefendable. Only a cesspool like SF run by idiots would put up with such a disgrace every month.

I see more motorcyclists and motorists breaking laws then average cyclist enjoying the outdoors or commuting to work.![]()
Although true, I'm certain the general argument here is that everyday good deeds don't warrant being a complete jackass for a day. But then again I don't know what the general argument is because I didn't read the entire thread.
That's what you get for driving.
BTW, say thanks for the other 30 days of the month bikers are not in their cars, making the traffic problem worse.
Just usual BS I guess.
Nope I'm not about to say thanks to critical massholes for anything whatsoever. And I won't say thanks to *you* for constantly promoting your radical bicycle agenda and it's associated propaganda in a motorcycle forum.

If you'll excuse me--I've only been here a few months, and don't know very well when people are trolling.
If you're serious: my personal feeling, having done group bicycle rides for a long time, is this: CM is exactly like group rides on motos. It's about making friends, checking out bikes, showing off, riding together, and doing something as a group. For me, the emotional experience of critical mass and the big BARF group rides are really the same. The BARF rides come with a little more "Oh shit oh shit they're really fast", perhaps.
Have you considered riding in CM? Perhaps that would corroborate my point of view--or maybe not, YMMV. I'd be happy to lend you my bike for the night, either way.
