Do You Mountain Bike?

It will work if yours doesn't

But it's nearing the end of it's useful life. The new XT i put on is shifting much better.

Yeah, I meant the new XT, I'll give you a ring this week and set something up, you have a link to where you ordered the derailleur?

Those planning to go to downieville but haven't yet...GO. Best conditions EVER. Best 3 days of riding ive ever had. No flats, did some fast runs down butcher-3rd-1st and had a kick ass camp site on the river.

Glad you guys had a great time and especially glad to hear the trails are in good shape... I'm supposed to be going this coming weekend. :teeth L8r.

On another note, I rode JMP today... ended up doing three loops instead of my normal two because my first run down Cindy, I found a bunch of debris on the trail that looked to be intentionally placed to disrupt bicyclists. From the top down, first there were rocks strewn across the trail just above the recent trailwork. Then in 4-5 other places there were branches and stick placed across the trail. Check out the pics. At least they were in places that were in plain sight and there we plenty of stopping distance. I cleared everything I saw. Be safe out there... there seems to be an increasing anti-biking sentiment at JMP. :mad

I also took a pic of the recent rework... pretty tidy!! :thumbup

^We don't have any races that weekend, so as of now :thumbup

I think that's the only weekend in June I have available, so I'd like to give it a go.

Are you riding on Saturday? I have a lot to do that day, but I'm tempted to time trial Tamarancho early...

You guys still thinking about going up to D'ville this coming weekend?

Skyline was fuuuuun... :)

for those interested, i ran a weirwolf LT race at 48psi (which rolls HOLY SHIT FAST) in the rear and a 2.3 weirwolf race in the front at 40 psi. no flats, and i did 2 sub 1-hour runs on the dh a little slower than race speed. I think for the race im going to run a little higher pressure in the rear, as i will be charging shit a bit harder than i was this weekend, esp when i know the course a bit better.

Just throught i would throw that out for usable info.

SJ,
You like BARF better than you do mtbr huh? One BARF post out of your current 179 have been outside this thread. The other one was still mtb-related! :laughing I guess this IS the Bay Area RIDERS Forum eh?? :ride:thumbup

Go moto and join us at a trackday sometime...

MTBR is full of to many BS posts by young kids, asking the same dumb questions 5 times a week, that could be solved with a simple search. My friend Francios runs the site, and i had him ban me so i would not bad mouth the numerous repetitive posters. I like it here a bunch more, even if i only ride dirt bikes.

Did you pick the Weirwolf's solely for this course?
