Thrilled for Cameron Smith. Great nights of racing with truckloads of grit and determination on display across all classes.
 
Peoria TT tomorrow! I love this track but also hate it for some of the injuries seen here. Hopefully everyone has a safe race day.

Dalton Gauthier is out recovering from surgery the broken ankle that rode to two podiums on last weekend (tough dude) and will be replaced by multi-time Singles class TT winner Hayden Gilliam. Another multi-time Singles class TT winner is returning in the form of Jesse Janisch who will also ride a Vance&Hines XG750. Cory Texter doesn't like Peoria so expect a shake up in the Production Twins class.

Its Henry Wiles vs. Dallas Daniels in AFT Singles. Can Wiles pick up his TT winning streak where he left off?

JD Beach vs. Briar Bauman is the expected showdown in Thunder Valley for the SuperTwins.

Hated seeing those kids have such hard crashes in the Singles race. Hope everyone is OK. Dallas Daniels sure looked like he had a concussion.

Love seeing that Wiles is still the man at Peoria despite a pack of very fast kids. JD Beach winning the SuperTwins main made my weekend.

Two Springfield Short Track AFT Singles Mains Events. Run in conjunction with Steve Nace Amateur event so a gazillion heats and mains across many classes on the always excellent Springfield Short Track cushion surface.

Springfield Short Track Singles Race 1 in the books and no shortage of excitement or controversy.
 
3 lap shoot out. Sad way to finish a good race.
 
Brunner's Race 1 win handed to Daniels while Brunner is demoted to 11th. Not sure about how that was handled.

Wiles and Cameron Smith both suspended and results from Weedsport and Peoria changed to DQ's as a result of failed substance tests. Turner Racing has severed ties with Wiles, effective immediately.

Finally, today's Springfield Mile has been postponed to Monday due to rain. Sunday's race will continue as scheduled.
 
The mile delivered. Dallas Daniels is a rider for the future if not now, SKILLS.
 
If you sleep in too long you will miss the races today.

Halbert just put on a great ride to win his semi. They need a different front tire if that is what is causing the head shake.
 
Really great racing in the Semis. Mees and Carver really flirting with the edge.
 
Mees has been protested. Waiting to see by who and if he is legal.

At the Mile. The Groove is only slightly narrower than my chance of charming Elizabeth Hurley. Hope they can prep it a little bit wider before the Mains.
