The water? Yes it looked just like that. Cloudy, not-blue sky, reflection of the green hills beyond, and lots of runoff silt in the water gives the lake that fishpond look.

The lake level is dropping right now but it should go back up this weekend, the forecast is for about an inch this weekend and then another inch mid-week. Could it be that wee see more than 5 feet of water at the hole?
