I bought a Triumph Tiger 1050 in Austin and followed the yellow brick road to a significant reunion. My previous Midwest fly & ride also had a high school get together. I’m getting lazy or specialized and less inclined to roundtrip across Kansas or Oklahoma. Come spring maybe looking for a wee Strom that way.

Then I moved to Germany and back to Richmond.

hated every minute of HS. only good thing i got out of it was my freshman year - a smoking hot dude. married him eight years later. still sleeping in the same bed. who knew that two horny-ass kids would last, but we have.
 
The last HS reunion I went to was my wife's twenty fifth..

She was ten years older than I, and I am her second husband. Her class mates were assuming I was the first husband they had met previous and couldn't get over how great I looked.

Yeah, having been eight years old when those guys were graduating high school worked wonders for my youthful appearance.

I enjoyed HS well enough, but was more than happy to get out and have never looked back. I can't really see the point of going to a reunion. I keep in touch with the few people about whom I give a shit and the rest don't matter to me.

In a large way, social media has made that possible. Which is why I think school reunions are dying off in general.
 
Hadn’t considered that, but could be. In my case, I went to one reunion for a private school that I attended for one year. Don’t feel the need to attend any others.

My dad went to several of his, including somewhat recently. As he’s 95 years old, attendance is dwindling.

I went to Homestead High in Cupertino. It was pretty much like Ridgemont High. I was not Spicole.

About to meet my BFF from hischool too and have a good time yet one more time.

Congrats on the new jerb BL, also hated High School. Only showed up as required for class and then went straight home to read mountain biking magazines.
 
Dude, purple anodized parts were the porn of the times! Also there was no internet for me at the time so what else was I gonna do?
