Niners have a lot of 1 year defensive deals to take care of. Price for many of these guys are going up regardless of a SuperBaugh win.

If Randy doesnt come back they'll have a small void. Hopefully Jenkins and Manningham can fill that. The Niners seem to be more willing to pay for defense and O/D line.
 
I was really surprised to read Jerry Rice come down on Tim Brown's side about Callahan. Man. Maybe it was bruised egos, as both are/were receivers.

Shit that makes sense. Brady was just trying to push Reed's sock back up for him.
 
From a logical POV, I would think Gore would want his socks up. Figure if someone was grabbing at his lower leg trying to tackle him, the sock would prevent a clean grab. It would give way and slide down to his ankle giving his leg the momentum to break the tackle. Where as the sock already being at his ankle, the tackler would be able to grab meat instead, the the rolled down sock would provide a backrest for the hand to stay clutched.

i would have loved it if they called a personal foul on brady. don't think i've ever seen one called on a qb.

as for gore, he was exposing a lot of leg sunday. pants over the knee, socks under the calf. love him as a running back and 49er, but i suspect he wears jorts in the off season.
