I have a coworker who's husband scored super bowl tix and she's telling everyone she's going. 2 tix, 3500 per.

I love New Orleans. but personally, I couldn't justify shelling out that kind of cash for a sport that is better to watch on tv than it is live.

some people need to be there, though. And I'm not going to hate. congrats to her and her husband.
 
I would love to attend a Superbowl. For me, it would be a once-in-a-lifetime thing. Sort of like racing at Lowe's Motorspeedway in a stock car (check).

3500 per is a bit steep, but the experience would probably be worth it. The city would have to be on my list of must-visits though. Not like a local superbowl, or Dallas. :laughing

When the Mercury News story on the couple was read around the country Tuesday, Ticketmaster CEO Nathan Hubbard personally called Hayward resident Sharon Osgood to offer four free tickets for her, her boyfriend and other family members who got scammed. They're also having breakfast with NFL legend Troy Aikman.

Before word of that offer got out, the 49ers front office called to offer two tickets of their own, which the couple plans to use for other family members they often go to Candlestick Park with.
