I don't care what he thinks. Max is our Commish. His word means something. :laughing

speaking of harbaugh, the man is abolutely insane

"with a shovel in one hand and a sword in the other, to build a great football cathedral. Go Niners!""

completely awesome and totally insane

Nate is a "blocking" TE and Delanie won't be with the team much longer.

Fleener is the trendy pick because A) he's from stanford and B) everybody wants to bob on Hoodie's knob and zomg he took gronk and hernandez

Scrolling through the cnnsi mock draft 1st rd, this one was the only prediction that looked horribly wrong.

Forget a TE, that Vern guy is all-world, and backup/blocking TE's are a dime a dozen. I say they will take a CB/Safety instead.

I can only hope that the Steelers play on the field is equal to the the ugliness of those jerseys. I hope they wear them against the Bengals. The field will look like a Jackson Pollock painting. :laughing

Yup, yup, yup, return of the Aint's...

One has to wonder if it makes a certain degree of sense for them to just sell off the franchise and beat the Vikings into L.A. with a totally re-branded franchise. These blemishes on their legacy are getting pretty significant.

Are you kidding?

It's Louisiana.

Their politicians have already one-upped anything the Saints can do. And been forgiven for it. Repeatedly. And re-elected, no matter how felonious.

Also, it's a business, it's not really in the league's interest to abuse the Saints too much more.

Yes, but the LA politicians don't have to deal with the rest of the nation in a competitive fashion, nor compete with other surrounding states for revenue. As it is the Saints almost moved to Texas a few years ago. Some faith was renewed in the franchise when they won the Superbowl after Katrina, but now that's been soiled by the bounty thing. With stiff enough penalties to be sure the Falcons are the team to beat in the NFC South for the next couple of years, why not consider a fresh start in a MUCH more profitable market?

the charges are from 2002-2004 seasons. federal eavesdropping statute is 5 years. if true it's 3 years past the time when they could be charged.

they may be clear of any formal charges and just have to own the social / image stigma.

if Rivera gets that CAR defense together than CAR will be challenging for that Div soon. TB is a wild card team and could have mediocre improvement or possibly SF Niners improvement with it's new staff. they have decent players despite a few weak spots.

ATL must be getting impatient with the HC and Ryan by now, no? isn't this their 5th or 6th year together? i think the're under tremendous pressure and that it's a big reason why they'll fail in 2012.

is it 5 years from the time of the crime, or 5 years from the time the crime was discovered to have happened?

You could totally be right, but I think these guys are probably doomed to be the Redskins of the NFC South for the next 5 years while the other 3 Teams slug it out for division.
