The Retire and Relocate Thread™

As for them guitar's... they would have to be "lefty's" anyhow!

BUT... I call first in line for any copper and/or carbon steel cookware!

I have some Le Creuset set but you probably wouldn't want that.

It is funny how barf thread tend to take a tangent direction after a bit.

Mandy has a Squire strat (no she doesn't play it).

I have a traveler electric guitar because we'll be doing a lot of traveling soon because (brings it around full circle) we might be relocating soon.

I don't play either... yet. I got them from my sister who played them 45 years ago.

Something to add to my retirement lifestyle one day.

Pickups get better with age. If it's 45 years old it might have a vintage sound that collectors are looking for.

What do you folks think about Scottsdale?

I spent a few days there one summer and it was warm.

If you want to live on the east side of a HUGE city where it takes an hour to drive from one side to the other, go for it. And quite a bit of that area is running out of water. Oh, and it's seriously hot for at least six months of the year. Like hot enough that you don't want to be riding a motorcycle after about noon.

If you want to live in Arizona, I hear that Prescott is nice. :cool
