Only a 20 minute row yesterday and lots of calories, today I rowed, ran, and surfed. Lots of calories again. I hope everyone had a magnificent Christmas.

I had the same day.

20 Min Ocean Swim

Fried eggs, mango sticky rice, steamed fish, lobster, absolutely no vaggies, blah blah blah LOL

Wish I could get fit. Gained 30 pounds (what a gut!) after new medication was prescribed. But due to hip pain from spondylolithesis, can't do much exercising other than 30 minutes every other day or so.

At least now I know why kenalog injections proved ineffective. Live and learn, right?

Paddled from the harbor to natural bridges today. Don’t know how far that is but the boat felt amazing and I got to call. We smoked the other three boats.

Generally 60-90 seconds.
I wasnt really keeping track. This day i was waiting to feel recovered before i started another set. I normally do my first set to failure and less reps on subsequent sets. I am a little weaker than i was because of my hand surgery and my failure is around 25-27 depending on the day.

My normal rep range is 25; 15-17; 12; 10; 10. If i go hog wild on set one, my later sets suffer. I was seeing where the sweet spot is. Pullups are more endurance in the end when you get the higher reps.

I have been experimenting with lifting straps and extra wide grip to target more back instead of bicep. Those reps were without straps and normal width which is more of an arm exercise for me.

Day 5 in Phuket. I took a couple of days off, which helped my bicep tendon soreness. I packed my lacrosse ball so I’ve been cross-fiber massaging that SOB.

Ocean “swim” at Tri Trang Beach, Phuket (see pic below). Now my favorite beach. Hardly any tourists. And then hit local gym for quickie.

WORKOUT

20 Min Swim - Tri Trang Beach (Mike, Beau & other ocean swimmers: you guys are studs!)

2x50 - Push Ups
6x10 - Bench Press
4x10 - DB Curl
4x10 - DB Side Laterals
2x 15 - Face Pull

”DIET” lol

• Eggs benedict & hash browns
• Chang Beer
• Steamed Whole Fish, small serving of rice, no vaggies (see video below)
• Pre Workout: 3 espressos :)

Did something dubbed Lapikov's walk.. Basically get in the front squat position and walk across the gym and drop the bar on the rack on the other side. 10 or 12 ft.

Problem was, I was the tallest girl in the group i was in so I had to lift it from the rack a bit more than the other girls. But we maxed out at 265lbs.
