Went home to swim. Did not feel jiggity about it so said fuck it. Went to work way early. Tired. Still sore so...

Went to my Hornitos and a beer. :Port
Swim tomorrow.

This was a good decision. There may be no beer one day.
 
Five day layoff. Got in a quick workout tonight before tuning into the election.

15 sets of lat pulldowns: 212lbs. for 10's
150 leg lifts & knee raises
1.5 hour trail run, 1700ft. elevation, 5.6 miles

3200 calories of nuts, berries, a chicken, oats, peanut butter. sorghum, bean chips, avocado, and Makuna honey.
 
Had a knife in my shoulder blade for the last two days. Hurts to turn my neck to the left. Think I slept with my head cocked funny.

Took two days off. Today I said f it and did push ups thinking it was better than doing single arm stuff.

Immediately felt better with some blood flow.
Came back. More push ups. Came back... repeated all day. :laughing.

200 plus push ups later it still is there but less so.

Tomorrow doing weights and see what shakes.

Getting old means sleeping is a full impact sport.
Beware young people.
 
Got my heavy duty joist mounted pullup bar installed in the bedroom. So much better than my doorframe one.

I formed a pod with 2 other people at my BJJ gym and got in my first session for the first time since lockdown. Felt so good to put on my gi again after having not trained for so long.

Been feeling super fit since quitting drinking. Tight stomach. Leaner face (I assume from inflammation as well). My friend tried to get me to eat more chips yesterday she says I;m too slim lol.

I am actually kind of sore in the chest today from the new weight level I'm at 45 lbs / hand for incline and flat bench which is good for me. I assume I'll max out around 52.5 because those are my heaviest weights but it seems do-able within a month or so.

Are you finding that your interactions with people has also changed as you've become more fit?

This was a fun and different ride, it was like 10 miles uphill which took like 1 hour and then 10 miles downhill which took 20 min lol
