What did you do to your dirty bike today?

Please give Ben a hi-five and tell him that it's now his duty to organize an Oregon barf ride in his hood. :teeth :ride

Pulled the trigger and ordered new plastic, rear brakes, graphics kit, and seal/spacer/o-ring for countershaft. Went riding up at cow yesterday in the 107° heat and still had a blast. Nobody else anywhere in the whole park.

What does he want for it?
I don't know. I don't think he wants to sell it now that I got it working right. But as soon as something goes wrong he'll bitch about it instead of following the manual and fixing it. Anyway, I recall it was listed for $2800 on CL when he bought it.

Changed the oil and cleaned the air filter on the CR. I have to pull the front forks tomorrow to fix a leaking fork seal so im going to replace the fork oil in both forks and set the oil level. Do you guys think 10w fork oil is too thick for 2000 CR250? I dont have any 5w on hand.

I see the light!

The dim balloon bulb finally burnt out on the 300exc. Rather than replace the crappy stock bulb I converted it to a H4 halogen bulb. Just rode it around the block (sorry neighbors) and it seemed to work real good.

Yes but not all fork oil weights are created equal. Maybe you have Castrol 10wt...

It did seem a little too thick so I went and bought some Maxima 5w fork oil today. This is what the guy used before and it feels good. I was just being a cheap arse.

Well... I guess I will jump in. Yesterday I converted a suzuki 350dr DIRT model's stator over to charge a 350es's battery. :afm199:ride:party

Picked up a sweet little XR50 and cleaned the carb, replaced a few o-rings, oiled the filter, changed the engine oil, removed the throttle stop, adjusted the drum brakes aaaaand lubed the chain. Can't believe Honda uses that ridiculous 17mm drain plug into cast aluminum on eeeeeeeveryting, I wonder how many cases have had the threads stripped over the years.

Ain't she a cutie?

Ha, well it is a pretty fun little ride. I was just flat tracking these in the shop having a blast. Mix in a couple buddies and some alcohol and shit could get out of hand real quick. :laughing

Aaaand here's the TTR125LE, which is what I was really after in the package deal. My daughter had been wanting an upgrade and this is absolutely perfect for her. Did a little maintenance on this one too, both are running great right now. Need a rear fender, front number plate and handlebars for this one, plus both need new air filters.

Thank you! No butthole bike flipping either, just happened to be what we were after. :)

Flogged the hell out of the xr today. We had a celebration ride for a good friend that got his license back after recovering from a medical problem. Threw the shinko all terrains on for a full on street ride. Was only 200 miles but all but 20 miles were twisty. I'm convinced now that I want real sumo setup and a stage 1 hotcam. Was alot of fun even though the other bikes were 2 sv650's, ninja 636, bmw xr1000, aprilia v4, ducati 1098, and a 990 superduke...lol

I completed my FCR carb swap on my XR today. I took it out Im pretty impressed with the throttle response especially in 3rd through 5th. This bike hauls ass now, before the power delivery was boring.
