No, Dungeons and Dragons is the greatest RPG of all time. As the creator of the genre of games with a HIstory in the neighborhood of 30 years at 2 feature films, it really is hard to top the king, particulalry with al the fantastic things WotC has done since they purchased TSR.
Shadowrun on the other hand is a truly visionary game with excellent writing and after all these long years, it finally has a rules system that does not suck ass. The new dice pool based system from the recently released 4th Edition does away with the cumbersome system that was so painful because of the limits of a system limited to a 6 sided variable. By setting a static Target number and switching to a pool based system they have made gameplay smoother and cleaner than ever before and the updates to the mythos by moving the storyline up to the 2070's has great improved it as well. Great game, for certain.
